Heartsaver First Aid is a course that teaches strudents critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies..

Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.
This course teaches adult, child and infant CPR and automated external defilbrillator (AED) use, as well as how to relieve chocking in an adult, child, or infant. This course teaches skills with the AHA's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students in the acquisition of emergency training.

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED is a course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult, child and infant CPR as well as AED use.
Time Involved: 4 Hours
Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.
The skills practice and skills testing session (Part 2 and Part 3) are for individuals who have successfully completed the American Heart Association online course (Part 1). A Part 1 certificate of completion must be presented prior to beginning Skills Check-Off session.
